The Real Men Club

FAQ

Simple answers before you share anything.

The Real Men Club is built to feel private, human, and easy to understand. If you are new, start here.

1

What purpose does this community serve?

The Real Men Club gives men a private place to ask for support when life feels heavy. It is built around quiet emotional support, private session requests, verified volunteers, and a 5-minute pause for moments that feel out of control.

2

Is it free to join as a volunteer?

Yes. Applying as a volunteer is free. Before anyone supports vulnerable men, they must go through suitability checks, verification, and training. This is a responsibility, not a badge.

3

Is it free to talk to a volunteer?

The current MVP is designed to make support requests easy and accessible. The goal is to connect men with support without putting a payment wall in front of a difficult moment. Availability depends on verified volunteers and safe routing.

4

What should I expect from this website?

You can read the story, request a private session, apply to volunteer, or open the 5-minute pause if things feel out of control. The website is not a replacement for emergency services, therapy, medical care, or legal advice.

5

I am new to this website. How do I navigate?

Start on the home page to understand the purpose. Use Session if you want private support. Use Volunteer if you want to apply to help. Use Out of Control if the moment feels too heavy and you need immediate grounding. Use FAQ when you want simple answers before sharing details.

6

Is this therapy?

No. The Real Men Club is a bridge between silence and support. Volunteers can listen, stay present, and guide toward safer next steps. Professional care should be used when therapy, medical help, legal help, or emergency support is needed.

7

Are my details private?

Session and volunteer details are intended for the private coordination/admin flow. Do not share anything you are not comfortable sharing. In immediate danger, real-world emergency support should be prioritized over privacy concerns.

8

What if things feel out of control right now?

Use the Out of Control path. It opens a 5-minute pause with breathing, grounding, safer-room actions, and real help options. If you may hurt yourself or someone else, call emergency support or Tele-MANAS 14416 in India.
